COUNTY & STATE FAIRS
Warren County Fair
- Where: Warren County Fairgrounds: 665 North Broadway, Lebanon, OH 45036
- When: July 20 to July 25
- This week-long event has food, games, rides, a demo derby, tractor pulls, tug-a-truck, harness racing, livestock shows, a cornhole tournament, talent show, karaoke, and parade!
Clark County Fair
- Where: Clark County Fairgrounds: 4401 South Charleston Pike, Springfield, OH 45502
- When: July 24 to July 31
- The week-long festival includes live music, carnival rides, an antique show, a livestock show, a home brew contest, truck tug-o-war, truck pull, demolition derby, tractor pull, cheerleading show, and a kiddie pig chase!
Butler County Fair
- Where: Butler County Fairgrounds: 1715 Fairgrove Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45011
- When: July 26 to August 1
- Visitors can participate in tractor pulls, a rodeo, demolition and combine derbies, live music, a wood carving auction, and a cake and pie auction!
Shelby County Fair
- Where: Shelby County Fairgrounds: 655 South Highland Ave, Sidney, OH 45365
- When: July 26 to August 1
- This county fair will have livestock shows, a petting zoo, amusement rides, a demolition derby, a tractor pull, band performances, and lots of food!
Ohio State Fair
- Where: Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds: 717 East 17th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43211
- When: July 29 to August 9
- Concerts at this year’s State Fair include Nelly, Sammy Kershaw, for King and Country, Alison Krauss and Union Station, and more! Visitors will be able to see the Butter Cow, ride carnival rides, see animals, watch the circus, walk around the farmers market, see pig races and so much more!
Preble County Fair
- Where: Preble County Fairgrounds: 722 South Franklin Street, Eaton, OH 45320
- When: August 1 to August 8
- Cost: $7
- Visitors can encounter camping, a demolition derby, the tractor pull, an ATV drag, rodeo, tug-a-truck, a lawn mower derby, and more!
Auglaize County Fair
- Where: Auglaize County Fairgrounds: 1001 Fairview Dr, Wapakoneta, OH 45895
- When: August 2 to August 8
- At this year’s fair, Craig Morgan will perform, there will be a cheerleading competition, wiener dog races, harness racing, demolition derby, rodeo, and more!
Greene County Fair
- Where: Greene County Fairgrounds: 120 Fairground Road, Xenia, OH 45385
- When: August 2 to August 8, 8 a.m. to 1 0 p.m.
- The fair will feature rides, a kiddie and calf scramble, tug-a-truck, harness racing, demo derby, tractor pull, karaoke, corn hole and more!
Champaign County Fair
- Where: Champaign County Fairgrounds: 384 Park Ave, Urbana, OH 43078
- When: August 7 to August 14, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Cost: $8
- Come visit the rodeo and listen to live music.
Mercer County Fair
- Where: Mercer County Fairgrounds: 1001 W Market St, Celina, OH 45822
- When: August 13 to 19
- Entertainment at this year’s fair includes performances from Jake Owen and tribute band Forever Seger.
Miami County Fair
- Where: Miami County Fairgrounds: 650 N. County Rd. 25-A, Troy, OH 45373
- When: August 14 to August 20
- The fair will host a food truck rally, a performance by Emily Ann Roberts, a variety of rides and games, and will host campers!
Darke County Fair
- Where: Darke County Fairgrounds: 800 Sweitzer St, Greenville, OH 45331
- When: August 21 to 29, 7 a.m. to Midnight
- The fair will feature a demolition derby, motorcycle races, harness races, tractor pulls, and a performance from Dylan Scott.
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENTS
NNO Dayton
- When: August 4
- Where: Various Locations
- Fairview Commons 2134 Elsmere (approx. 5 p.m.)
- Gettysburg Grocery, 811 S. Gettysburg (approx. 6 p.m.)
- Taste of Old North Dayton, 238 Baltimore (approx. 7. p.m.)
- Dayton Police and city leaders will join residents in several neighborhoods to recognize safety and civic engagement.
NNO Trotwood
- When: August 4
- Where: Home Depot parking lot, 5200 Salem Avenue
- Time: 5pm-8pm
- Residents, local retailers, community organizations, and visitors are encouraged to attend this family-friendly event. Guests will enjoy an evening of free food, games, activities, public safety displays, and attractions for all ages, while having the opportunity to meet the men and women who proudly serve the City of Trotwood.
NNO Springfield
- When: August 4
- Where: Veterans Park, 250 Cliff Park Road, Springfield
- Time: 5pm-8pm
- The evening will feature a wide variety of activities for all ages, including: Free food, games and prizes, a bicycle raffle, an exciting inflatable park, and safety vehicle tours from participating agencies
NNO Miami County
- When: August 4
- Where: Troy City Park, 265 Adams Street
- Time: 5pm-9pm
- The evening will consist of an opening ceremony at 5:00 pm, Miami County law enforcement, State Highway Patrol, ERT, Fire Departments displays, Crime and Homeland information, Police and Search and Rescue K-9, Drone, RADS, and Taser demonstrations, Red Cross, Crime Prevention, Homeland Security and Neighborhood Watch information. Miami Co and National Park District and Department of Natural Resources, State of Ohio Attorney’s Office, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Guard, ETC. There will be handouts, children’s games and ID kits, FREE FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS, FREE DRAWING, from donations given by the merchants and support groups. So come out and show your support by being a part of this special event in giving Crime and Drugs a Going Away Party.
NNO Centerville

- Visitors will enjoy free activities, including photos with Mr. Red from the Cincinnati Reds, face painting, a touch-a-truck, and inflatables. The Centerville-Washington Park District, Montgomery County Recorder’s Office, Washington-Centerville Public Library, Brave Bags, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Raising Cane’s, and SkyZone also will host activities.
NNO Harrison Township

Industrial Strength Bluegrass Summerfest

- When: July 16 to July 18
- This is the inaugural Industrial Strength Bluegrass Summerfest and it will feature the best in bluegrass and American roots music!
Annie Oakley Days Festival
- Where: Darke County Fairgrounds: 800 Sweitzer Street, Greenville, OH 45331
- When: July 24-26
- The Annie Oakley Festival will have live entertainment, the melodrama, the parade, historical bus tours, shooting contests, a car show, kiddie tractor pulls, and shooting contests!
Dayton Celtic Festival
- Where: United Irish of Dayton, Riverscape MetroPark: 111 E. Monument Avenue, Dayton, OH 45402
- When: July 24, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

- July 26, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Art in the City

- Presented by AES Ohio, this festival invites guests to experience visual and performing arts from painting to poetry, to dance, all in the streets of Downtown Dayton!
SummerFest - Youth For Christ of the Miami Valley

- When: Friday, August 7
- Come out and join the Cornhole Tournament (Pre-registration is required): free carnival, games, food, music, and more. You can also dunk your friends with the Flush Bucket game.
Germanfest Picnic
- Where: Dayton Liederkranz Turner Clubhouse: 1400 E. Fifth Street, Dayton, OH
- When: August 14 to August 16
- Celebrate Germanfest with schnitzel dinners, brats, sauerkraut, a wide selection of authentic German brews and spirits, and, of course, live music in the heart of one of Dayton’s original German neighborhoods!
Springboro Touch-a-Truck

Englewood Art Festival

Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival
