YELLOW SPRINGS — The winter storm that moved the Miami Valley this week left nearly a foot of snow in some areas. Plowing that snow has also left large snow piles that may take weeks to melt.

At Young’s Jersey Dairy, the massive snow pile on the property has inspired a contest.

Owners shared a photo of the snow pile on Facebook and asked people to guess the exact date and time when it will be completely melted.
“Know that the pile will get added to throughout the season if it were to snow more, so add that to your calculations,” owners added.
The person with the closest guess will receive a free Club Cowvin card.
The post has already gotten nearly 3,000 comments, which some people guessing it won’t melt completely until April.
